Wuhan University is a key university directly under the administration of the Education Ministry of the People's Republic of China . It lies at the foot of picturesque Luojia Hill by the side of the East Lake , the most charming place of Wuhan , a large city of strategic importance in Central China .
　　College of Pharmacy Wuhan University is a rising college belonging to the Science department. There are 4 departments in the college for Biological Technology Pharmacy, Pharmaceutics, Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacology. The college offers well-managed postgraduate program for master degree including Microbiological and Biochemical Pharmacy, Pharmaceutics, Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacology.
　 There are 53 staff members at the college, among which there are 10 professors, 21 associate professors, 12 Ph.D. College also invited professor Hou Huiming as Part-time professor (academician in Chinese Academy of Engineering).
　 The college not only focuses on the teaching and attaches great importance to research ， now the research fields majored in Gene Engineering Pharmacy, Clinical Pharmaceutics, Biologic Pharmaceutics ， Traditional Chinese Medicine Pharmaceutics, etc. It had undertaken more than 50 national and provincial projects in academic researches ， published 7 monograph, achieved 12 scientific results, achieved 6 provincial Scientific and Technological Advance Awards, gained 10 medicine patents.
